Two skiers race down the slopes at full speed! Who will win? And if it was your young champion, who earned points by doing this DIY.

  • 2 rolls of empty toilet paper
  • Cardstock of different colors
  • Crepe paper of different colors
  • Strands of wool
  • 4 toothpicks
  • Markers
  • A pair of scissors
  • Glue

1. Glue colored cardboard strips around rolls of toilet paper. Glue the pink paper around the top third of each roll. Paint the eyes, the nose and the mouth. Glue a strip of cardboard of a different color on the rest of the rolls.

2. Cutting arms and gloves into the carton. Glue the gloves on the arms and glue them on the roller.

3. To make the ski poles, start by cutting 4 small circles in cardboard. Put each circle on the tip of a toothpick, then glue the other end of the toothpick into the skiers' hand.

4. Cut two strips of crepe paper and glue them on each roll, these are the skiers' hats. Tie the top of the crepe paper with a strand of wool to make it look like a hat.

5. Wrap a crepe paper scarf around each skier's neck.

6. Cut 4 skis in cardboard and glue them under each skier.
