Ingredients:

For 4 people

  • 300 g chopped veal
  • 1 slice of bread without crust
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of saffron
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme

  • 1 teaspoon of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme

Preparation:

Soak a few minutes bread crumbs in cold water. Squeeze it out and mix it and put it in a salad bowl. Add the veal, beaten egg, saffron, thyme, a pinch of salt and mix.

Form pellets and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes in the preheated oven at 180 ° C (350 ° C).

Meanwhile, melt the peeled and minced onion in a pan with turmeric and thyme. Add the tomatoes cut into pieces. Let reduce the juice. Add salt.

Add the veal pellets and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
